Solving Factorable Quadratic Equation

                     Lesson 1

Problem:    Solve for x:  x² + 3x + 2 = 0

Solution      x² + 3x + 2 = 0;  x² + 2x + x + 2  = 0 ;   
Step 1:

Solution      x(x + 2) + 1 (x + 2) = 0; (x + 1)(x + 2) = 0;

Step 2: 

Solution      x + 2 = 0; x = -2, x + 1 = 0; x = -1

                                                            Step 3:

                                                            Solution      Answer: -2, -1

                                                            Step 4:

                                 A.    x² + 6x + 9 = 0

                                 B.   x² - 36 = 0
