Truth Values: and, or, implies, if and only if

Problem:   What is the truth value of the statement:

                                                                                 "43  -  20  =  23 and 17 is a prime number."   

Solution      43 - 20 = 23 ; True (T)

Step 1:

Solution      17 is a prime number; True (T)

Step 2:          (T and T = F)

Solution    Since the first facts is True, the entire sentence is True.

Step 3:
