Lesson 1

Problem: Record the following data into a frequency table.

Below is a list of all heights in a class.

6, 4, 7, 2, 1, 3, 6, 3, 7, 4, 2, 2, 7, 3, 1, 4, 5, 7, 5

Step 1: The lowest number is 1. The highest number is 7. Shoe the range of our frequency table is 1 to 7.

Step 2: We then create a tally column to record the data from the set. We mark a tally for each time a heights appears.

Step 3: Now create a frequency column. Add all the tallies together to determine each heights frequency.
